Hi, i have a very tough disision 2 make n i thought i would ask u for some help. I started track this year and i was a sprinter for winter and spring season. I was awful, never good but i enjoyed it VERY much. XC is coming up. Im contemplating joining but i really don't know if i should. The idea sounds amazing, but i can barely run a mile without falling over. coach wants us to run 3-5 miles in the summer before the season starts. XC would require multiple miles. How would i b able to do it?
Thanks for coming to me! Im sure other people will be able to provide more feedback. From my experience, my XC team is TOTALLY scattered. Unlike track i feel, xc you really get better and better each time you go out. With devotion and support from team mates and coaches, itll be SO fun. XC is a journey, it’s about personal commitment and improvement. try your hardest, and get out this summer and try to build your way up to 2 miles and go out for the team! Youll ADORE it♥

Hey, I’m just joining xc for the first time this season too! My coach gave me a workout for base training over the summer, and by the beginning of xc ill be able to run five miles. Message me if you’re interested in taking a look at the schedule!

cross country is the BEST. i never ran before i did it, and after it was over i was so upset and kept on running! you might not like it during, but its a ton of fun and you will create a ton of memories :) plus, it beats sitting on the couch all day!
